Supernature Recordings
Audiofly kicked off the label in December 2007 with Robbie Akbal’s ‘The Joint’ in fi ne style and haven’t looked back since.
To introduce the label after such a strong start the likes of Bearweasel, Livio & Roby and Nick Curly came soon after. This was followed by key label artists Kabuto & Koji. These 2 guys from Costa Rica have grown into themselves since joining the label and continue to make their mark on the global scene. Next, DJs Sophie and Claudia, otherwise known as Amelie collaborated with label bosses Audiofl y for their debut release. Hanging out with the experienced heads did them no harm and has catapulted them into a career that has seen them play all over the world. Southern Germany’s Pele is a typical workaholic and produces top quality music at a phenomenal rate. His album is looking really strong and will be major feature for the label later in 2010. Finally, Berlin’s Alex Niggemann has exploded on the Tech House scene this year with his releases on Supernature right to the fore. Alex manages to attract a wide range of sub-factions without ever moving away from a deep underground sound. We expect big things from this guy as a DJ and a producer.
The future for the label is going to be in developing our core artist base as well as keeping on top of the more immediate releases. In Audiofly we have the perfect mix of hard working global DJs with experienced producers and A&R expertise. Supernature is a family affair and like all families it can only keep growing.
