Bedrock continues to impress with Sian ‘Dreams Are Maps’. The original, featured on John Digweed’s recent Structures mix, is a sort of Moroder-ish incessant synth groove with retro vibes all over it. What it lacks in bells and whistles is makes up for in quirky dance floor magnetism. Remixes come courtesy of Paul Woolford who is as solid as always. Woolford’s Wax Treatment is the killer here, more modern sounding and minimal than the original version and definitely one of his better efforts as of late. His Waxed Out Dub is an even more stripped back take with some nice segues and some slightly off-putting but nicely used vinyl-style crackles.
