Jamie Jones – Hot Natured Re-Rubs 03
The third Not Natured release is upon us and features the illusive talents of Electric Jones a.k.a Jamie Jones. Mr Jones steps back into disco mode, chopping up and adding some new spice to a few well known and not so well known classics. First Up is “Saliva Door”, which is a simple yet effective re snap of “San Salvador”, a2 is a what you might call a chicy little number effectively re mixing the Chic classic everybody dance. On the flip is two less known, but equally effective cuts. b1, “Set you Free”, is a filtered uplifting hook turned upside down, whilst b2 “Mold On” is a funk laden trip that’s guaranteed to get even grandma grinding. -SC
