Ilija Rudman – Call Me Tonight Remixes

Ilija Rudman wowed us with ‘Call Me Tonight’ in Issue 16 and three new mixes from Greg Wilson, Rhythm Based Lovers and The Revenge (again) are a welcome treat. Wilson’s mix twists things in a number of directions beginning as a re-edit of the original, then introducing electronic flavours and horns before then dropping into classic piano. Rhythm based Lovers take a super stripped back approach focussed on the original slap bass line and percussion. The Revenge wins out for me with the most disco-y, super-funky and downright groovy version on offer. – LS
